Prior to Co-Founding Kalium Consulting, Lance was the Senior Vice President of Operations with Hitachi Consulting. His expertise focuses on the analysis, design, and implementation of large scale, results-based change programs. Lance brings to Kalium Consulting over 20 years of international management consulting experience in the Mining, Oil & Gas, and Chemical sectors in Canada, United States, Europe & South America. He has held several management and engineering positions in the mining & mineral processing, chemical, and nuclear reprocessing industries. Lance graduated with an engineering degree from the Royal School of Mines in London and completed an executive management certificate from the INSEAD School of Business in France.
With over 15 years of Operational Consulting experience, Mark has undertaken multiple assignments across the mining, oil & gas, chemical, and telecom industries. Prior to co-founding Kalium Consulting, Mark was the Director of Operations with Hitachi Consulting and led several large, multi-site engagements for both surface and underground operations in coal, potash and oil sands mining segments.
Mark specializes in Asset Management, Business Performance Management, and Supply Chain Management. Mark holds a Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Economics. Mark is also an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
Specializing in Financial Planning & Budgeting, Asset Management and Business Performance Management, Jason brings his breadth of experience to Kalium through his experience in leading multiple large engagements and assignments across the mining, manufacturing and consumer goods industries. Working extensively in underground mines, his focus on mine planning, maintenance planning & execution, logistics, warehousing, and project management has given him hands-on experience in the field and the ability to understand the industry from the ground up. Jason is a Chartered Financial Analyst Level II Candidate and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

A Professional Civil & Mining Engineer with 20 years of front-line expertise in underground mining, operations improvement and project management, Jason has experience in land development design, project management, short-range mine planning and underground surveying. His extensive consulting experience includes surface & underground metal, phosphate, potash and coal mining in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
In addition to consulting, Jason has developed and managed projects in the civil engineering and mining industries. Jason has a Master’s degree in Project Engineering & Management from Montana Tech and a Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
